There is something special about a home game.
On Saturday, Café Rico’s—the very place where we hone our craft every two weeks—transformed from a rehearsal space into a high-octane rock room. The atmosphere was charged with a mix of long-time followers and fresh faces, all gathered to witness the first official outing of our new five-piece lineup.
Opening with "Walk in the Park"
We didn't ease into the set; we made a statement. We opened with our brand-new track, "Walk in the Park," the first song written specifically for this constellation of musicians. Despite the title, the track is anything but a casual stroll. It’s a driving example of our tighter, heavier groove, and hearing Jana deliver those lyrics against the new wall of sound made it clear that we've found our edge.
Pure, Original Energy
In an era of cover bands and backing tracks, we stood our ground. The entire set was 100% original material. No gimmicks, no safety nets—just five musicians playing off each other's energy. The small room at Rico's came to life as the crowd leaned in, gripped by the intensity of the new rhythm section and the sharpened edge of the guitars.
Voice on the Edge
Jana was, in a word, formidable. She commanded the stage with a power voice that filled every corner of the room. By the end of the night, you could hear the physical toll of the performance; her voice had taken on a beautiful, raw grit. It wasn't just singing—it was a total vocal performance that perfectly matched the high-energy rock vibe of the set.
Gratitude to the Source
We owe a massive thank you to the team at Café Rico’s. Their support allows us to practice and evolve within these walls, and being able to launch this new chapter in our home base meant the world to us.
Superstation is officially back. Next stop: The festival circuit. See you on the stage.
